La mise en œuvre de ce suivi a été confié à l’OMMM en 2001. \r\nL’objectif du réseau de surveillance des récifs coralliens mis en place en Martinique est double. Il s’agit d’une part d’étudier quantitativement des descripteurs de l’état de santé des communautés récifales de Martinique et d’en déduire l’évolution temporelle des récifs coralliens.
