Title A name given to the resource Bilan 2016-2020 du 4ème programme d’actions de l’ifrecor Description An account of the resource L’IFRECOR a clôt la quatrième phase quinquennale de son programme d’actions (2016-2020 ; prolongé jusqu'en 2021)). Cette période a permis de développer des actions dans 15 thèmes, s’inscrivant dans les axes du plan cadre de l’FRECOR, et se déclinant tout ou partie des collectivités de l’outre-mer. - Certains de ces thèmes sont « historiques » et se déclinent depuis le début de l’Ifrecor : la surveillance des récifs, la cartographie, les aires marines protégées, les actions de communication/sensibilisation ; - d’autres ont démarré au cours de la phase 2, se sont déployés en phase 3 et poursuivis en phase 4 : observatoires des herbiers et des mangroves, changement climatique, socio-économie ; - d’autres, enfin, ont émergé dans cette nouvelle phase : MERCI-Cor, vulnérabilité des outre-mer aux changements climatiques, liste rouge, espèces exotiques envahissantes, outils de financement pour la conservation. En parallèle, les territoires ont développé leur propre plan d’action local avec des activités qui sont en résonnance avec les actions nationales, ces dernières trouvant dans les territoires leur terrain d’expérimentation, et d’autres activités locales développées en parallèle du plan national. Les activités des plans locaux s’inscrivent pour la plupart dans les axes « surveillance des récifs coralliens », « communication » et « sensibilisation », également dans l’axe « connaissances ». La mise en œuvre de ces actions s’est appuyée sur les comités locaux et sur le comité national (lien sur les membres du comité national) de l’IFRECOR, qui s’est réuni 4 fois seulement fois au cours de la période, la période de COVID sur 2019 et 2020 ayant fortement restreint les échanges.
