Cette zone est classée réserve « Man and Biosphere » (MAB) par l’Unesco et une partie du lagon et du récif constitue la Réserve Naturelle du Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, gérée par le Parc National de la Guadeloupe.\r\nLa présente étude a pour objet la réalisation d’un nouvel inventaire des biocénoses marines à partir d’une méthode comparable et en retenant une typologie équivalente.
