Réaliser un inventaire des principales espèces cibles de la pêcherie artisanale locale observées en périphérie de chacun des sites, avec élaboration de listes d’espèces zonées ; \r\n\t2. Apprécier pour chacun des sites et pour l’ensemble du projet, la structuration de cette catégorie de poissons, selon plusieurs caractéristiques : \r\n\t• La diversité taxonomique (principales familles et espèces) ; 
La terminologie de « Réserve Naturelle du Lagon » sera conservée dans cette étude, bien qu’il existe aujourd’hui un nouveau projet de protection du milieu marin. Le Parc naturel marin est un outil de gestion intégrée qui a pour objectifs une protection globale de l’écosystème tout en préservant un développement durable des activités liées au milieu marin. Les zones retenues dans le projet RNL et étudiées ici restent donc tout à fait importantes et pourront être prises en considération dans le cadre de ce nouveau projet. \r\n\t• L’abondance de chaque famille et espèce de ces poissons, en terme de nombre d’individus et de biomasse ; \r\n\t• La structure trophique de ces communautés de poissons, en terme de nombre d’individus et de biomasse. \r\n3. Etablir sur le site de Mtsongoma, nouvellement identifié au sein du projet de classement en réserve naturelle, un état des lieux de cette catégorie de poissons selon la même méthodologie. En 1997, un autre suivi s’est déroulé du 1er au 8 mai, réalisé conjointement par l’ARVAM, l’IFREMER, OCEA et l’Université de la Réunion, afin de compléter la description des peuplements et de comparer les données obtenues (Tessier et al., 1997). En 1999, dans le cadre du programme CORDIO sur le blanchissement corallien et ses impacts écologiques et socio-économiques, des stations de surveillance ont été implantées et sont parties intégrantes de l’ORC. Elle est également le résultat d'une collaboration fructueuse entre, d'une part, Nicole Gravier-Bonnet & Chloé Bourmaud (ECOMAR) et, d'autre part, Julien Wickel (LAGONIA Mayotte) & Hendrik Sauvignet (OCEAN'OBS Réunion).\r\nCette mission, réalisée du 28 novembre au 12 décembre 2007, fait suite à la mission préliminaire effectuée en octobre 2006 (cf. rapport de mission : Gravier-Bonnet et al., 2007). Lors de la première mission, 2 sites classés en aires marines protégées par arrête préfectoral (les sites de la Passe en S et de Saziley) avaient été prospectés et 90 espèces répertoriées. Jusqu’à aujourd’hui, aucun inventaire des espèces de crustacés décapodes côtiers de Martinique, ou même des Petites Antilles, n’a été publié.\r\nL’Observatoire du Milieu Marin Martiniquais a réalisé un inventaire de ce groupe, en collaboration avec le Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle. Cette étude s’intègre dans un programme national de plus grande importance : le recensement des crustacés et l’étude de leur répartition pour une utilisation potentielle comme bioindicateurs.\r\nUne étude bibliographique préalable a permis de définir la stratégie d’échantillonnage. L’inventaire qualitatif qui a été retenu a été utilisé pour identifier les peuplements de crustacés décapodes caractéristiques des cinq biotopes marins principaux : les récifs coralliens, les rochers, le sable, la mangrove et les eaux saumâtres.
