Le processus de définition d’AMP est un processus long qui devrait être l’aboutissement d’une démarche participative impliquant de nombreux acteurs : coutumiers, acteurs socio-économiques et politiques, usagers du lagon et récifs, et scientifiques.\r\nLa démarche proposée ici ne constitue qu’un volet de cette démarche puisqu’elle consiste à définir des zones de conservation prioritaires uniquement en fonction d’informations biologiques.
