Elle souhaitait également impliquer fortement les équipes des différentes réserves naturelles marines dans la phase de collecte des données sur le terrain.\r\nDe 2008 à 2012, le « réseau de réserves » a été pérennisé afin, d’une part de réaliser un diagnostic actualisé sur l’état de santé des peuplements benthiques et des herbiers à partir de 2008, et d’autre part de renforcer le principe de compagnonnage et d’échange entre les 4 structures. Depuis 2009, le suivi est complété par un diagnostique de l’état des peuplements ichtyologiques et par le suivi de stations de comparaison hors réserve.
