Dédié aux acteurs locaux de la gestion, ce travail se limite aux problématiques locales et ne prend pas en compte les enjeux plus globaux ou régionaux comme les changements climatiques ; problématique traitée par ailleurs dans d’autres documents tels que le rapport du WWF et du WDCS (Elliott et al., 2007).
